Annie the Musical

Annie is the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical based on the comic strip Little Orphan Annie. It tells the story of Annie, a hopeful and bright young orphan in 1920s New York, who longs for the day her parents come back for her, after abandoning her on the steps of an Orphanage. She manages to get herself an invitation for Christmas at Oliver Warbucks mansion, a billionaire who is struggling for meaning in his life in a post-depression America.
